Kosovo hosts the regional conference “Energy Market South East Europe 2013”

On October 10, 2013, at the premises of Swiss Diamond Hotel in Prishtina, Evroenergie, a company which is a part of the well-known Energiewelt group from Germany, organized the regional conference “Energy Market South East Europe 2013”. The speakers at this conference included the main stakeholders of the energy sector in the region, namely, the Kosovo Minister of Economic Development, Mr. Fadil Ismajli, Austrian Ambassador in Prishtina, Dr. Johan Brieger, Chief of Division in the Federal Ministry for the Environment of Germany, Mr. Franz-Josef Schafhausen and the Head of Network Sales at E.ON Mitte AG, Mr. Sven Nuhn.

One of the main speakers at this conference was also our Managing Partner, Mr. Dastid Pallaska, who presented a legal overview of “Project Finance in the Energy Sector”. Among other issues, our Managing Partner presented key aspects of Project Finance, its structure, advantages and disadvantages of this financing method as well as a matrix for the management and mitigation of risks during the implementation of these projects in the energy sector.
